Contact
You will be talking to me, not a call center.
Call or text (661) 505-5555, or send an email. I answer my own phone between 9:00am - 5:00pm Pacific on weekdays.
What to tell me first
A first call takes about ten minutes and costs nothing. It helps if you have thought about these, though none of them is required:
- What has been going on, roughly, and for how long.
- How it has affected sleep, work, study, or the people around you.
- Anything you have already tried, including therapy that did not help.
- What you would want to be different.
- Which city in California you live in.
If you would rather write it down than say it out loud, email is completely fine. The link below opens a message with those prompts already in it.
If this is an emergency
This practice does not provide emergency or crisis care, and messages are not monitored outside working hours.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or dial 911. Both are available at any hour.
